Assignment types in workflows
Fixed assignment, through workflow configuration
We select the user on the workflow configuration.
Subsequent assignment, through forwarding
The user who's going to perform the action is selected on the previous action.
Subsequent assignment, to the author
The user who last updated the document review.
Subsequent assignment, to the user who performed the action X of state Y
Select the state and the action on the workflow configuration.
Subsequent assignment to the user that started the workflow
This one applies in cases where the workflow is in its Final State and, for some reason, must be rebooted, leaving the action for the one that reboots it and not for the author of the first edition.
Subsequent assignment, to the original author
The user who inserted the document.
Subsequent assignment to the user that performed the actions in the previous state
Subsequent assignment via auxiliary fields
The users associated to the auxiliary field previously chosen in Settings » Assoc. User.
Subsequent assignment, to the user who made the X action of the state Y of workflow Z
Select the state, action and workflow on the workflow configuration.
Subsequent assignment to the user who performed the following actions of the state X
It applies in cases where several situations may happen after a certain action. As an example, when we have one action with 3 results that lead to 3 different states, this assignment will be for the person that performed one of those 3 states.
Subsequent assignment to the owner
The owner is a specific user, selected to be the owner of the process/document even if he/she doesn't interfere in the workflow. It is only possible to define an Owner in an already inserted document and this field will only appear if the field Author has been previously activated, before the insertion of that same document.
